For this tour you will be picked up at your hotel. We will first visit the iguana farm and medicinal plant garden of the KEKOLDY indigenous reserve, where a small indigenous family is dedicated to the protection of the Green Iguana, a species that was threatened with extinction and has recovered thanks to some initiatives like this one. We will then visit another indigenous family in the Bri-Bri Reserve, where we will have a short guided tour to learn more about the properties and uses of some traditional plant species. Here we will also be shown how to make chocolate, which is very important in the Bri-Bri culture as it is used for purification rituals, as food and also as medicine. The last place we will visit is a waterfall where you can take a refreshing bath and enjoy a fruit snack. The tour ends at a local restaurant where we will have a typical Caribbean lunch before heading back to the hotel.
