Canyoneering - Spider Monkey

Experience the thrill of rappelling and the beautiful surroundings near the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. Here you'll climb through canyons and rappel down waterfalls. Safety-oriented guides take care of all the logistics and teach you everything you need to know. No previous experience is required.

After a short introduction you will abseil down four waterfalls and one rock face with a short climbing part and the "Monkey Drop", a rope slide, where you are guaranteed to get wet!

In between we will walk through the tropical rainforest and look out for animal inhabitants like toucans, monkeys and sloths. Following the canyon adventure we will have a delicious and well-deserved organic lunch.

Is this your first canyoneering experience? No problem! Our professional guides will teach you step-by-step how to use ropes, belays and pulleys. You can be sure that you are always in the best hands with us. The tour is also suitable for families with children 8 years and older and 48 inches tall or taller.

• - Minimum number of participants: 2 adults
• - Minimum age: 8 years
• - Minimum height: 48 inches (120cm)

• - Good physical condition is required for this tour
• - Not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with back or heart problems, or other serious medical conditions.
• - Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free option available for lunch, please specify when making reservations.
• - The tour is bilingual in English and Spanish
• - Transportation from most hotels is included in the price. If your hotel is far from downtown La Fortuna or the road to the Arenal Volcano, additional pick-up costs may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• - The departure times are approximate and we will send you the exact pickup time.
• - We recommend wearing quick drying clothing, tennis shoes, hiking shoes or multi-sport sandals, to bring a spare change of clothes, insect repellent.

Policies:

• - Cancellations or changes to the booking are possible until 24 hours before departure. After that, the full booking price will be charged in any case.
• - If a participant does not appear at the agreed time at the agreed place, we can wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of non-appearance, the full booking price will be charged.
