With wild orchids, colorful flowers, lichens, ferns and rainforest trees, the flora also has a lot to offer and makes Costa Rica a colorful oasis.

Spend the night in the middle of the jungle and wake up to a concert of howler monkeys, watch the agile hummingbirds buzzing around your comfortable hammock, or lie in wait for a glimpse of the snuggly sloths, which are usually whole cavorting in the treetops – as the name suggests, pretty lazy.
