Day 1 Welcome to La Fortuna

Today you arrive in La Fortuna - for an extra charge we can also organize your transfer, no matter from where! After checking in at the hotel, you will have time to explore the town and maybe look for some souvenirs and enjoy the view of the Arenal Volcano (if it is not covered in clouds). The evening you can spend in one of the hot springs of the area or at the hotel's jacuzzis..

Day 2 Ziplining and Whitewater Rafting Class II & III

Right after an early breakfast, the day starts in an adventurous way. You will be picked up at the hotel with other international travellers and taken towards the La Fortuna waterfall. By tractor you will go to the starting point of the tour, a viewpoint of the first waterfall. This is also where the first of the seven cables of your ziplining tour starts. You rush past waterfalls, over canyons and through the rainforest - a total of over 2.5km ! Adrenalin rush & nature impressions in one. Afterwards you go to the Balsa River - after getting the equipment you go on the river and together with the experienced guide and other participants you overcome rapids of the classes ll-lll. Before returning to the hotel you will have a delicious typical lunch. You have earned the rest afterwards.!

- Price is per person with a minimum of 2 adult participants
- In peak season higher prices may apply
- The package is also available for single travellers (please ask for the rate)
- Child rate (from $220) is for children 5-11 years old (in same room with adults)
- Minimum age for the canopy and white water rafting tour: 8 years old (accompanied by an adult)
- Maximum age for the canopy and white water rafting tour: 60 years (on request we can take out this tour or replace it with another one)

Policies:

- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via e-mail and have received a confirmation by the same means in order to be accepted.
- Cancellations of confirmed services may generate automatic charges stipulated as a percentage of the total value for each time period in the booking confirmation.
- Charges for cancellations are subject to the policies of each supplier and to the expenses incurred in the preparation of the program, attributable to the prepayments received and which are summarized as follows:
• Cancellations received twenty-one (21) days prior to the program start date will incur minimum charges of 25% of the total.
• Cancellations received between twenty (20) and eleven (11) days prior to the program start date will incur a minimum charge of 50% of the total.
• Cancellations received ten (10) days or less prior to the start of the program will be charged 100% of the total.
• No refunds will be made if all or part of the program is cancelled after the start date.
- All reserved services are subject to the impossibility of offering as a consequence of natural disasters as well as governmental acts, strikes, delays or any other cause beyond the control of Costa Rica Insider.
- Costa Rica Insider will not be responsible for, nor will it bear any additional expenses for impediments of any kind that make it impossible for a tourist to continue or finish the program according to the planned itinerary.
