Safari Float at Peñas Blancas River

Enjoy a relaxing half-day trip on the calm waters of the Peñas Blancas River. The river is only about 20 minutes from La Fortuna. On safe and stable rubber dinghies we will drift and look for rainforest inhabitants like toucans, sloths, monkeys, small caimans and turtles.

You will be accompanied by bilingual guides who have a high knowledge of the local flora and fauna and can tell you a lot about the ecosystem of the tropical rainforest.

Of course, safety is a top priority. Before the tour starts you will get a detailed instruction in paddling and will be equipped with the necessary equipment.

After the beautiful river safari we will spoil your palate. On a small ranch we will be guided through the garden and examine the cultivation of coffee, cacao and sugar cane. Afterwards we will have a small tasting.

No experience is necessary for this adventure. Our qualified guides will give you all the basic instructions to enjoy the activity to the fullest.

• - Child rate ($55) is for children 5-11 years old, child seats are available free of charge (subject to availability).

• - Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• - The tour is bilingual in English and Spanish
• - Transportation from most hotels is included in the price. If your hotel is far from downtown La Fortuna or the road to the Arenal Volcano, additional pick-up costs may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• - The departure times are approximate and we will send you the exact pickup time.

Policies:

• - Cancellations or changes to the booking are possible until 24 hours before departure. After that, the full booking price will be charged in any case.
• - If a participant does not appear at the agreed time at the agreed place, we can wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of non-appearance, the full booking price will be charged.
