The combination tours combine the main attractions of the La Fortuna region and are suitable for those who like to experience a lot or who only have a limited time in the region and want to make the most of it.

Arenal Volcano is undoubtedly a highlight and is best viewed on a hike of about 2 miles along paths of cooled lava in El Silencio Reserve. The viewpoint here is closest to the volcano and so you have a stunning view of the lagoon, the rainforest and the traces of previous eruptions.

Another highlight of the region is the 230ft high waterfall of La Fortuna, embedded in dense rainforest. Directly behind the entrance you can take fantastic photos from a beautiful viewpoint. Then you walk about 0.3 miles downhill on stairs to the foot of the waterfall. On the way you learn a lot about the local flora and fauna from your guide. Once you have arrived at the waterfall, there are more unforgettable photo opportunities and whoever wants to take a refreshing dip in the adjacent river is welcome to do so.

You do not want to miss the hanging bridges park. On a path through the rainforest and over bridges you can walk high above the treetops and observe the plants and animals from all possible perspectives. The 2 mile-long circular trail includes 16 impressive suspension and standing bridges.

If you feel like relaxing, you can combine the excursion with a visit to a Hot Spring including dinner. Here you can really relax and ponder this amazing day. There are several thermal baths in different price ranges to choose from. At the end of the day you will be brought back to the hotel by our transfer.
